Arizona had 68,615 licensed realty professionals at the end of June 2005, a 36.2 percent jump over the 50,372 licensees in fiscal year 2000 before the market took off in 2004. By December 2007, the ranks of the licensed realty professionals had soared to 110,000, an 116 percent jump over the 50,372 licensees in fiscal year 2000. The figures below represent all recorded single family residential sales by ARMLS within the entire Arizona Regional Multiple Listing area. ARMLS covers about 215,000 square miles of real estate.
